In this assignment I am going to evaluate and describe the strategy process of Apple Inc. In order to evaluate the strategy I am going discuss the emergent and deliberate strategy characteristics and also the development approaches elucidated by â€Å"Of Strategies, Deliberate and Emergent† by Mintzberg and Waters (1985). Firstly, I will discuss the eight categories outlined by Mintzberg and Waters using evidence and examples from Apple Inc. I will then focus on the differences between deliberate and emergent strategies and their relationship. Followed by the critical analysis of the strategy development process and Finally Apples strategy towards innovation.
